The coal industry is one of the fundamentals of our Homeland's economy. Therefore, the country supports development of coal industry while taking into account problems of the mining regions. Our country promotes increase of efficiency and establishment of proper and safe working conditions, as well as modernization of production processes – since coal enterprises provide heat and light to our homes, as well as make a great contribution to power security of Ukraine. It is owing to your devotion and courage that we today are overcoming difficulties of national economy's functioning at high gas prices.
