The Law amends article 14 of the Law "On Combating Terrorism" which is to be supplemented with a new chapter. According to the new chapter, in the area of a long-term anti-terrorist operation, persons engaged in the terrorist activity can be detained for over 72 hours, but not for more than 30 days.
Moreover, the Law was supplemented with a new article 15-1 "Peculiarities of preventive detention of persons engaged in the terrorist activity in the area of the anti-terrorist operation".
Respective bill was registered under No. 4312а.
