The Law supplements the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine with a new sector ІХ-І and new article 615, according to which in the area (administrative territory) under the martial law, the state of emergency and the anti-terrorist operation, in case an investigating judge can not fulfill their duties stipulated in articles 163-164, 234-235, and 247-248 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and duties of appointing a preventive measure in the form of detention for 30 days for persons accused of crimes stipulated in articles 109-114-1, 258-258-5, 260-263-1, 294, 348-349, 377-379, 437-444 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, these duties shall be fulfilled by a respective prosecutor without the court's decision.
