The Committee on Legislative Support of law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt a s a basis and in entirety the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Militia” re using force, special means and firearms in the ATO zone

The bill (Reg. No. 4310a) suggests granting militia personnel the right to use physical force, special means and weapons in the ATO zone without notice.

It was noted that the bill aims to increase the safety level of militia personnel and help them more efficiently perform tasks on liquidation of terrorists in the course of ATO.

Committee members focused attention on the fact that implementation of the bill’s provisions will secure a better level of safety of militia personnel in the course of ATO.
