The law suggest a new version of the Law “On Safety and Quality of Food Products” under the title “On Fundamental Principles and Requirements for Safety and Quality of Food Products” and amends 12 legislative acts of Ukraine, inter alia the laws “On State Regulation of Import of Agricultural Products”, “On the State Biosafety System in the Course of Generating, Testing, Transporting and Using Genetically Modified Organisms”, “On Consumers’ Rights Protection”, “On Securing Sanatorium and Epidemiological Welfare of Population”, “On Withdrawal form Commerce, Processing, Utilization, Liquidation or Further Use of Low-quality and Dangerous Products”, “On the List of Licensing Documents in the Sphere of Economic Activity”, “On Vet Medicine”, “On Drinking Water and Drinking Water Supply”, as well as the Code of Ukraine Administrative Infringements, the Criminal and Economic Codes, and the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Standardization and Certification”.
