"I am sure that Russian mercenaries and military men leading a war against our country have already received a status of international terrorists, international terrorist organizations, and they, together with their leaders – the Kremlin bin Ladens, will bear full responsibility and will be punished for their bloody deeds", claimed Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Turchynov, opening the Conciliatory Council meeting on Monday.
Oleksandr Turchynov claimed the fight against international terrorism in the East of our county still goes on: units of the Armed Forces and the National Guard, special units of militia are conducting offensive operations – they have freed Rubizhne, and now battles are conducted to free Popasne, Dzerzhynske, next in turn are Lysychansk and Severodonetsk.
"I believe that thanks to courage and heroism of our military men, of those heroes and patriots who are protecting Ukraine and the world from global terrorism with weapons in their hands, the whole territory of Ukraine will be free from terrorist threat", he claimed.
The Chairperson of the Parliament also thanked those people's deputies who "during their work in constituencies and committees had also an opportunity to fulfill their duty in the anti-terrorist operation area, helping our military in the material and technical framework". "There are lots of such deputies, and I think they are fulfilling their constitutional duty with dignity", he stressed.
At the beginning of the meeting, members of the Conciliatory Council commemorated the deceased passengers of Malaysia Airlines "Boeing-777" with a minute of silence.
