The Verkhovna Rada adopted as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re converting garden cottages and country houses into residential dwellings and registering them as dwelling places

The bill determines the order of conversion of garden cottages and country houses into residential dwellings; specifies the notion of “place of residence of natural person”; and adjusts provisions of the Land Code regarding construction of country houses on recreational land plots, etc.

The bill supplements the Housing Code, the Civil Code and the Law “On Freedom of Movement and Free Choice of the Place of Residence in Ukraine”.

The respective bill was registered under No. 2336а.
