The people’s deputies approved Plan calendar of the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation.
Under the Plan calendar, plenary meetings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation shall begin on September 2, 2014 and end on January 16, 2015.
For the period of the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation, the plan calendar presupposes:
9 plenary weeks of the Verkhovna Rada;
7 weeks for the work in the committees, commissions and factions;
4 weeks for the work of the people’s deputies with the electorate;
9 Government Question Hours in the Verkhovna Rada.
The respective draft resolution, amended in the course of discussion, was registered under No. 4197a.
The people’s deputies took the decision to continue the work of the fourth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation till the opening of the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation on September 2, 2014.
Under the decision taken, the people’s deputies mandated the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada to convene the Parliament within 24 hours in case of necessity.
July 22-25 and August 12-16, 2014 are set to be plenary weeks.
