The Committee members decided to address the Prime-Minister of Ukraine with an initiative to restore the governmental committee on European integration and renew governmental programmes on informing the public, particularly, in the sphere of European and Euro–Atlantic integration. Moreover, a decision was made to prepare proposals on expanding functions of the Committee on European Integration with consideration of the necessity to implement the Association Agreement, and of the experience of states-candidates for EU membership.
The Committee members also upheld draft laws: on amendments to the Law "On Sea Ports of Ukraine" (re ensuring free development of sea ports) (Reg. No. 4431), on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine on identification and registration of animals (Reg. No. 4987), on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine on prohibition of producing, importing, shipping, transporting, and selling naswar (Reg. No. 3187), on amendments to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Standardization and Certification" (Reg. No. 2002a), on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re consumer rights to photo and video shooting in places of selling goods) (Reg. No. 3698), on amendments to article 199 of the Commercial Code of Ukraine (re state guarantees) (Reg. No. 3209-1).
Apart from this, it was recommended to approve the list of bills which are regulated by national legislation of EU member-states, which do not concern Ukraine's obligations within the Council of Europe, and which do not require Committee's expert conclusion. It was also determined to hold parliamentary hearings on institutional component of implementing the Association Agreement in September.
