The Verkhovna Rada adopted as a basis the draft law on amendments to article 28 of the Law “On Military Duty and Military Service”

The bill suggests increase the age of the liable to military service who are in the reserve of the second category and have military rank of enlisted ratings and noncommissioned officers, as well as of field and company grade personnel – up to 60 years, and senior officers – up to 65 years.

The bill was registered under No. 4844.
