The Verkhovna Rada approved a text of the Address of the Verkhovna Rada: "On harassment and violation of rights of Ukrainians in Russia".
According to the resolution, in order to efficiently elaborate and implement state policy of Ukraine in the sphere of cooperation with foreign Ukrainians, particularly those residing in Russia, to satisfy their national, cultural and language needs, protect their rights, preserve and develop their national identity, the Cabinet of Ministers, according to chapter two of article 1–2 and article 10–1 of the Law "On Foreign Ukrainians", shall:
form a central body of executive authorities on cooperation with foreign Ukrainians within funds stipulated for maintaining executive authorities, and ensure its efficient functioning according to article 10–2 of the Law "On Foreign Ukrainians";
immediately elaborate and approve national target programme on cooperation with foreign Ukrainians;
adopt regulatory legal acts necessary for efficient implementation of the Law "On Foreign Ukrainians".
