The bill (Reg. No. 4914) suggests provide members of public associations of public order and state border protection with the right to buy and use cold and fire weapons on the basis of internal affairs body's permit, and determine the order of using these weapons.
The Committee's members upheld the bill, adoption of which will allow citizens involved in public order and state border protection to use cold and fire weapons which will facilitate fight against terrorists, promote increase of the country's defence capacity, enhance working efficiency of the State Border Guard Service and other law-enforcement authorities.
