People’s deputies from the group “Economic Development” provided the amphibious company of the Ground Forces of Ukraine with body armours.
145 body armours of the fourth class of safety protection and helmets have been already sent to the area of the anti-terrorist operation.
“We have sent the order for manufacturing the body armour at the beginning of May but we received the finished products only today. It is connected with the fact that Ukrainian plants appeared not to have been ready for such amount of orders”, claimed Vitalii Khomutynnik when transferring body armours and helmets.
He added that the deputies’ group “Economic Development” will soon send the same set of body armours to the army.
As acting commander of high mobility landing troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, colonel Yurii Halushkin claimed, received protective equipment will be immediately transferred to 80th independent airmobile brigade of the Ground Forces of Ukraine.
