The bill (Reg. No. 3786) was elaborated in order to reach such level of development of Reni Seaport that would secure its functioning as a full member of the international transport system.
It was stressed that adoption of the bill will help increase efficiency
of port’s activity. Committee members believe that implementation of bill’s
provisions will stimulate Ukraine’s
activity in the international differentiation of labor regarding port’s
activity and meeting the needs of economy in the transport service. Committee members noted that bill requires further adjustment both in the part of financial feasibility study and in the part of meeting requirements of legislative procedure. Such adjustment is possible in the course of preparation of the bill for the second reading.
