The Committee on Legislative Support of law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to article 222 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine re refining the mechanism of criminal responsibility for financial resources fraud

The bill (Reg. No. 2582a) suggests impose criminal responsibility for obtaining subsidies, subventions, donations or credits by false pretences, not aimed at converting them at one’s own use of the use of third party.

The bill suggests a new version of article 222 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Committee members deem the bill topical and believe that its adoption will help refine the mechanism of legal regulation necessary for securing economic activity.
