The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine” (re cancellation of car recycling tax and excise tax on vehicle conversion)

The law abolishes payment of environmental tax for utilization of vehicles withdrawn from use, and exempts from excise tax operations on converting a non-excisable vehicle imported into the customs territory of Ukraine to an excisable car.

The respective bill was registered under No. 4238.
