Oleksandr Turchynov took under his personal control separatist situations in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts

In connection with developments in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov cancelled his working visit to Lithuania where he was to participate in the Conference of Presidents of Parliaments of the EU Member States.

Oleksandr Turchynov convened an emergency meeting of law-enforcement ministries and departments, and took under his personal control the separatist situations in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.
