On the grounds of article 78 of the Law “On local-self government of Ukraine” and according to clause 30 of chapter one of article 85 of the Constitution of Ukraine, chapter three of article 14, chapters one and five of article 15, articles 60, 61 of the Law “On elections of deputies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, city councils, village, township and city mayors”, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine established:
to set early elections of Cherkasy city council for May 25, 2014 and hold them according to the procedure determined by the Law of Ukraine “On elections of deputies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, city councils, village, township and city mayors”;
that the Central Election Commission should determine volume of budget expenditure necessary to hold early elections of Cherkasy city council;
that the Cabinet of Ministers should apply immediate measures on ensuring funding of early elections of Cherkasy city council.
The resolution comes into force since the day of its publishing.
