Ukraine should join the family of European people and become strong and decent European country. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov stressed this during the interview to Rada TV channel.
“At present, we are regaining trust in authority and we aspire to build a democratic and civilized state, so that people were not afraid of authority and did not care of a surname of a President or a Prime Minister,” he said.
According to Oleksandr Turchynov, people “should know that their rights are protected and that the state establishes all conditions for them to live, work and rest. Politologists and analysts should be interested in which party is in office, as this happens in the European countries.”
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada noted that Ukraine “should join the family of European people and become strong and decent European country, where people would want to live. Our children should be proud that they live in this country.”
“Let us build the country together,” he called on.
