As it was mentioned at the Committee’s meeting, the bill (Reg. No. 2203-1) is aimed at ensuring unity of judicial practice, more efficient use of possibilities of national legal system, complying with requirements of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms at the national level, as well as establishing additional guarantees of protecting human rights and freedoms so that the judicial authorities can fulfill its task regarding delivery of operational, quality and accessible justice.
During the meeting it was mentioned that the bill suggests amend the Law “On the Judicial System and Status of Judges” and procedural codes.
According to the Committee members, adoption of the bill will increase efficiency of work of the highest judicial body in the system of general jurisdiction courts, and ensure unity of judicial practice.
