Last night Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov
visited main command post of the
department of Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the examination of the main command post, a meeting between leaders of the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held, as well as the teleconference with leadership of the Ukrainian Navy.
During the teleconference, commander of the Navy rear admiral S.Haiduk assured that “regardless of provocations and blocking on the part of Russian military men, Ukrainian navy sailors proudly fulfill their military duties and are loyal to the oath to the people of Ukraine.”
Moreover, leadership of the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff reported to the Commander-in-Chief about readiness of the army to perform tasks for protection of the country.
