At the Committee’s meeting on February 27, it was noted that the draft resolution (Reg. No. 4297) suggests:
1) suspend payment of a lump-sum benefit (dismissal pay, monetary allowance) that is paid in line with the laws of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor’s Office”, “On Pension Provision to Certain Persons Dismissed from Military Service and Some Other Persons”, and “On Court System and the Status of Judges”, until the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine takes the decision on the order of granting and payment of a pension (monthly lifetime financial allowance) to the persons from among the enlisted men and senior officers of the internal affairs bodies, military men of internal military forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Security Administration of Ukraine, and other military formations, as well as prosecutor’s, interrogating officers and judges that violated their oath, the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine during acts of mass protests and other mass events starting from November 21, 2013;
2) suspend payment of a lump-sum benefit, stipulated by the Law “On State Service” when granting a pension in line with this Law to the persons from among the enlisted men and senior officers of the internal affairs bodies, military men of internal military forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Security Administration of Ukraine, and other military formations, as well as prosecutor’s, interrogating officers and judges for the period until the Verkhovna Rada takes the decision on the order of granting and payment of a pension (monthly lifetime financial allowance) to the persons from among the enlisted men and senior officers of the internal affairs bodies, military men of internal military forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Security Administration of Ukraine, and other military formations, as well as prosecutor’s, interrogating officers and judges that violated their oath, the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine during acts of mass protests and other mass events starting from November 21, 2013.
