As was officially announced during the session by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, the “European Choice” Coalition of deputy factions in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation was formed and registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat on February 27, 2014, under article 83 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
The Coalition was formed by the following deputy factions: “Batkivshchyna”, "UDAR (Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform) of Vitaliy Klychko", “Svoboda”, groups “Economic development”, “Sovereign European Ukraine” and other people’s deputies in the number of 250.
