On Wednesday Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov spoke on the phone with President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland Donald Tusk.
The Parties discussed present situation in Ukraine during their phone conversation.
Oleksandr Turchynov informed that one of the main problems the new government is facing – is practical absence of central and local authorities in the country.
Moreover, according to him, tomorrow the parliamentary majority will form the Government of national confidence that “will give opportunity to restore legitimate authorities in the regions.”
Oleksandr Turchynov also expressed his hope that after the Government is formed, cooperation with the IMF and other international institutions will be renewed, “which will promote overcoming the crisis that we have now.”
“Our strategic course is European integration, and we rely on Poland’s support regarding this issue,” said the Chairman of the Parliament.
In his turn, D.Tusk expressed words of support to Ukrainian nation and stressed that the Polish Party is ready to help Ukraine on its way of changes and reforms.
“We are ready to provide Ukraine and its people with comprehensive support,” claimed the President of the Council of Ministers.
