1. In view of the fact that peaceful public rallies that began in Ukraine in the result of the decision of the President of Ukraine V.Yanukovych not to sign the EU Association Agreement, which led to millions of the citizens of Ukraine taking to the streets in order to protect democracy and civil freedoms and which faced severe repressive opposition in regard to the protesters, human rights activists and journalists on the part of Berkut. In the result of the intimidation policy of the Ukrainian authority, as well as repression, torture and violence against protesters more than 2000 of people were injured, lots of people were abducted, 77 died and dozens of people became political prisoners (were detained, arrested and imprisoned), including political prisoners that were arrested before,
the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expressing the sovereign will of the Ukrainian people, resolves:
to immediately release the following political prisoners:

4. Ihor Mosiichuk;
5. Andrii Biletskyi;
6. Ihor Mykhailenko;
7. Vitalii Kniazheskyi;

10. Serhii Pavlychenko;
11. Anton Boiko;
12. Anton Shamov;
13. Dmytro Svitanko;
14. Oleksandr Radolov;
15. Vladyslav Popovych;
16. Rustam Urazgheldyiev;
17. Serhii Yarmolenko;
18. Andrii Bondarenko;
19. Anatolii Popovych;
20. Ihor Hannenko;

2. Entrust the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine to immediately secure closure of criminal and administrative cases in regard to these persons due to absence of the event of a crime in the actions of the abovementioned persons.
3. This Resolution comes into force on the day of its adoption.
