The bill (Reg. No. 3402) suggests specify categories of pre-school educational institutions and secondary comprehensive schools in case of not-attendance of which by affected children, their parents receive monetary compensation according to article 30 of the Law “On the status and social protection of citizens affected by the Chornobyl disaster.”
Also the bill stipulates that from January 1, 2015, payment of such monetary compensations should be equal to the amount of average cost of food in these institutions determined by local self-government authorities, but not in the amount determined by the Cabinet of Ministers as stipulated by the current norm of article 30 of this Law.
