The Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information does not uphold the bill on organizations that are being financed from abroad

In the course of discussion of the bill (Reg. No. 4041), the Committee Chair Mykola Tomenko focused attention of those present on the fact that Public Council on matters of freedom of speech and information at the Committee has critically assessed this document.

People’s deputies of Ukraine deem several legislative novelties, suggested in the bill, inexpedient.

Following the results of discussion, the Committee decided to address the specializing Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government to recommend the Verkhovna Rada reject the bill.
