Assuming that developments in Ukraine are not outgrowing to a threat to national security of the country and its territorial integrity, that these threats and challenges are being considerably intensified by a deep economic crisis in the country and by worsening of general feelings and social position of most of our citizens, members of the Committee called the Parties to the conflict to a reasonable and rapid compromise on the basis of state interests, and strongly warned them against any wrongful and violent acts.
The Committee draws attention to all citizens of Ukraine, first of all to military men, senior and junior officers of security and defense sector of the country to act exclusively within the framework of and in a way determined by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine.
The Committee calls to urgent consultations on the issue of forming the Government of Ukraine, the composition of which would gain social support and be capable of decisive actions to remedy economic situation and implement a complex of measures for security of the most vulnerable categories of Ukrainian citizens.
The Committee also calls people’s deputies of Ukraine, regardless of party and faction affiliation, to personally realize all complexity of this moment and act responsibly, as well as not to allow interference of foreign Parties to overcome this acute political crisis in Ukraine.
