The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “On amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine re responsibility for denial and excuse of fascist crimes”

The legislative act supplements the Criminal Code of Ukraine with a new article 436-1 “Public denial or excuse of fascist crimes, propaganda of neo-nazi ideology, production and (or) distribution of material excusing crimes of fascists and their supporters.”

Respective bill was registered under No. 2179а.
