To the personnel of archive institutions of Ukraine
Dear friends!
I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of your professional holiday. There is no doubt that it goes beyond the community of archivists, since almost every citizen of Ukraine once in a while applies to archives with these or that inquiries. Thus, your work is really socially topical. You consciously perform extremely honorable and responsible mission – preservation of our valueless national treasury – the records from the past times of our Homeland, as well as state-building, scientific, engineering, and artistic achievements of many generations accumulated in different sources. All honor to you!
Archive institutions in the independent Ukraine have come to a qualitatively new level in their activity – the level of openness, tolerance, objectivity and harmonization with international socio-humanitarian space. Archives as important social institutes confidently move ahead in line with the requirements of dynamic reality and timely respond to modern challenges.
I am convinced that archivists will further multiply the best traditions of previous generations that lie in formation, preservation and multi-aspect use of archive documents and enrichment of the National Archive Fund.
I wish you happiness, optimism and further achievements in your important and that necessary for all of us work.
