As it was mentioned during the discussion, the bill (Reg. No. 2435) suggests regulate the order of nominating a person to be awarded the honorary title “Mother Heroine.”
The document also stipulates a consecutive order and terms of introduction and consideration of requests and proposals on awarding the title, particularly:
preliminary consideration of requests for awarding the honorary title should be carried out by executive authorities of the respective council during ten days from their submission date;
requests for awarding the honorary title should be sent to the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Oblast, Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations which have to consider them during fifteen days from their submission date.
The Committee members took into consideration the fact that the necessity of adopting this bill “lies in the need of eliminating gaps and drawbacks that considerably complicate the procedure of awarding the national award – honorary title of “Mother Heroine.”
