I sincerely congratulate you on this memorable date – the 80th establishment anniversary of the theatre.
One of the oldest puppet theatres of Ukraine has bright and original history. It is connected with names of such talented persons as – Viktor Dobrovolskyi, Liubov Hakkebush, Oleksandr Yudovych, Serhii Yefremov, Eleonora Smyrnova, Charles Foerberg, Borys Smyrnov, Viktor Starikov, Anatolii Poliak, Anatolii Pavlyk and many others.
It is pleasant to note that the theatre is constantly developing and increasing its creative potential. Your repertoire consists of artistically perfect works and innovative stage works. Recognition of Donetsk theatrical school is certified by numerous diplomas received at international, All-Ukrainian and interregional festivals, as well as prestige and popularity of the festival ‘Puppet meetings’ founder of which is your creative team.
I hope that you will promote revival of Ukrainian national culture and spiritual values evoking the best human qualities in children - patriotism, love for nature, honesty, courage and nobility.
