It was noted during the Committee meeting that the bill (Reg. No. 3548) suggests take measures re preservation of nature reserve fund objects (NRF) by exemption from fee for special use of water resources used for irrigation (watering) of NRF objects.
During the discussion, the people’s deputies stressed that according to Ukraine’s legislation, NRF is protected as a national heritage which has a special regime of protection and use. The issue of water supply of the abovementioned objects, as budgetary non-profit establishments, should not be considered on the same basis as entrepreneurial activity connected with special water use.
