The bill (Reg. No. 3090) suggests adopt a new Law “On Metrology and Metrological Activity” and amend the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, as well as the laws “On the List of Licensing Documents in the Sphere of Economic Activity”, “On the Licensing System in the Sphere of Economic Activity”, "On Confirmation of Correspondence” and “On Protection of Consumers’ Rights”.
The bill aims to differentiate regulatory, control (monitoring) and economic functions; differentiate administrative and economic administrative services; harmonize legislative acts in line with OIML documents; and establish state metrological inspection, etc.
