During the meeting of the Committee on November 20, 2013, it was noted
that the bill (Reg. No. 3640) aims at protecting of the disabled from limiting
their rights on the basis of disability.
The bill suggests:
amend article 2 of the Law “On the Fundamentals of Social Protection of the Disabled of Ukraine” by stipulating that the term “discrimination on the basis of disability” is used in the meaning provided in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and in the Law “On the Basis of Prevention and Counteraction to corruption in Ukraine”;
amend article 161 of the Criminal Code.
