The meeting, held in the Embassy of Finland in Ukraine, concerned
problems of integration of Ukraine’s education into the European educational
space. The Parties agreed to establish cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada
of Ukraine Committee on Science and Education and the Education and Culture
Committee of the Parliament of Finland in regard to organizing expert round
table discussions on matters of legislative support to securing functioning of
educational sector. Liliia Hrynevych expressed gratitude to the Finnish Party for promoting
implementation of certain educational projects in Ukraine, particularly, the
Crimean School Project on implementation of multilingual education in
pre-school and secondary educational institutions of the Autonomic Republic of
Crimea.
