It was noted that foreign loan management in the amount of almost USD 1,3 billion was inefficient. The loan was used by the state enterprise for financing infrastructure projects (Fininpro State enterprise) against guarantees of the state in order to finance measures stipulated by the State target program on preparation and holding of European Championship 2012.
With consideration of information provided by the Counting Chamber, the Committee took the decision to suggest the government refer the report on efficiency of using state funds, spent on preparation and holding of European Football Championship 2012, to the Verkhovna Rada prior to January 1, 2014.
People’s deputies stressed that analysis of activity of the State enterprise “Fininpro” “should be considered jointly with preparation to holding the EuroBasket 2015.”
