The bill (Reg. No. 3382) suggests supplement the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements with article 160-1 that establishes responsibility in the form of a fine equal to five hundred - one thousand of citizens’ personal exemption, as well as confiscation of tickets and money means received from the sale of tickets for buying up tickets with a view to resale and for the resale of tickets for football matches and other sport, concert, art and culture events.
In view of the fact that the Verkhovna Rada is the only legislative body in Ukraine, one of the duties of which is to adopt laws (article 75, clause 3 of part one of article 85 of the Constitution of Ukraine), suggested amendments to the applicable legislation correspond to the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine.
