The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds the draft law on animal by-products that are not intended for human consumption

The bill (Reg. No. 3357) suggests determine the list of animal by-products that are subject to mandatory handling, processing, utilization or disposal; establish categories of animal by-products depending on human or animal health risk; determine rules of collection, transport, storage, processing, utilization, disposal or exercise of control over these actions; and requirements to handling animal by-products.

The bill aims at establishing the system of handling with animal by-products; securing epizootic welfare; and preventing the spread of infectious agents, etc.
