The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds the draft law “On amendments to articles 89 and 102 of the Budgetary Code of Ukraine” (re receiving privileges for payment of communal services)

The bill (Reg. No. 3451) was elaborated in order to regulate the issue of restoring privileges of junior and senior officers of the state fire protection service for payment of communal services, according to part seven of article 22 of the Law “On Fire Safety” that became invalid under the Civil Protection Code of Ukraine.

Amendments are made in regard to implementation of the rights by junior and senior officers of the state fire protection service and service of civil protection, as well as members of their families, according to article 89 and 102 of the Budget Code. Amendments provide for a 50 per cent discount for residential rental and communal services.
