The bill (Reg. No. 2295a) suggests determine organizational and legal basis in order to ensure quality and safety of table eggs for life and health of citizens and environment in the process of their production, packaging, transportation, storage and sale.
Apart from this, the document introduces main requirements in regard to classification, marking and packaging of table eggs.
The people’s deputies took into consideration the fact that the bill was elaborated in order to bring national legislation of Ukraine in line with the EU standards in the top priority spheres of adaptation in order to protect citizens’ life and health and avoid controversies when marking table eggs or packaging them in case of export to the EU countries.
