The Committee on Entrepreneurship, Regulatory and Antimonopoly Policy upholds the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re refining the mechanism of taking response measures when exercising state control (monitoring) in the sphere of economic activity)

The bill (Reg. No. 3084) aims to protect economic entities against unreasonable obstruction to their legitimate economic activity on the part of controlling bodies by providing the abovementioned entities with the authorities necessary for efficient protection of their rights.

It is stipulated amend the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements and the Law “On the Main Principles of Sate Monitoring (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity”.

Committee members believe that refinement of regulatory legal acts, that regulate relations in this sphere, will broaden rights of economic entities and help protect them from improper fulfillment of duties and/or abuse of rights by controlling bodies of state power.
