The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re strengthening responsibility for some types of infringements in the sphere of road safety

The bill (Reg. No. 3405) suggests strengthen administrative responsibility for infringements of the rules of using safety belts, of automobiles’ window tinting above the established norms, as well as of installing and/or using lighting elements (lamps, photodiode lights, etc.) in exterior lights that do not correspond to current norms.
The respective amendments are suggested to be made to articles No. 121, No. 122, No. 139, No. 188-28 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements.
Amendments are to be made to the laws “On Militia” and “On Road Traffic”.
The Committee members upheld the bill.
