During the meeting it was noted that the bill (reg. No. 3312) is aimed at improving provisions of anti-corruption legislature according to the results of negotiations regarding liberalization of the visa regime for Ukraine by the EU.

The bill suggests amend the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, the Criminal Code, the Civil Procedure Code and the Laws “On appeals of citizens”, “On banks and banking” and “On Principles of Corruption Prevention and Counteraction”.

The people’s deputies voiced several remarks to the bill during its consideration. 

The parliamentarians also paid attention to the fact that the Central Scientific Experts Office thinks that the bill should be recommitted with consideration of suggestions and proposals.
