CASE Ukraine and the Property and Freedom Institute were co-organizers of the event.
During the hearings, the attention was drawn to state policy of development of small and medium size business, its part in reforming the system of state management, in the results of deregulation policy, etc.
Senior Consultant of the Kyiv School of Economics, senior economist and member of supervisory board of CASE Ukraine Volodymyr Dubrovskyi presented his research entitled “Why does not deregulation work?”
Experts claim that small size business shall play a key role in deregulation at this stage, but it shall make it efficient – almost all respondents complain about the state, but at the same time, hope for its positive role in the improvement of business climate.
Participant of the hearings voiced their proposals regarding the development of small and medium size business. These proposals will be generalized and included in legislative work of the Committee.
