The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements re increasing responsibility for violating fishery rules

The bill (Reg. No. 3079) suggest increase administrative responsibility for violating rules of using objects of the animal world, particularly, fish and other water resources, as well as habitat protection requirements and protection of their migration paths, outmigration, acclimatization and crossing.

The bill stipulates also increased responsibility for violation of fishery rules.

Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which, they believe, will allow decrease illegal use of fish and other water bioresources in water objects.
