The bill (Reg. No. 3127) suggests establish legal, social, economic and organizational basis for holding the 2015 European Basketball Championship finals in Ukraine by adopting a separate law and amending several legislative acts.
Following the results of discussion, people’s deputies stressed the necessity of soonest possible adoption of the bill in order to ensure efficient preparation for holding the 2015 European Basketball Championship finals. They emphasized also the possibility of considering remarks of the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat during preparation of the bill for the second reading.
Committee members believe that the suggested bill will allow refine the procedure of alienation of land plots and other objects of immovable property, located on it in view of social necessity to construct objects, stipulated by the State social target program on preparation and holding of the 2015 European Basketball Championship finals.
