During the meeting of the Committee, it was noted that the bill (Reg. No. 2427a) is aimed at creating conditions for promoting investment activity in the rural area, for manufacturing recovery at enterprises requiring reconstruction, and also for creating new jobs.
Having discussed the draft law, the Committee members claimed that considerable measures on financial support of investments into production infrastructure of Ukraine’s agriculture are stipulated by the Law “On State Support of Agriculture of Ukraine”. Moreover, in the first hearing the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law on amendments to several laws of Ukraine re promoting attraction of investments (Reg. No. 2101a) which stipulates establish agro-industrial complex as a priority sector of economy, thus adoption of the mentioned bill is economically unjustified.
