It was noted that the aim of the bill (Reg. No. 2507a) is to introduce public control over using budgetary funds that are provided for creating television programmes for state needs and their broadcast by creating mechanism to prevent misuse of taxpayers’ money.
Particularly the bill suggests supplement article 6 of the Law “On Television and Radio Broadcasting” with a new part 8.
According to the bill, broadcast of television and radio programmes and/or shows and advertisements, that were created and/or are broadcast at the expense of state budget or local budget funds, is followed by the information on creation and/or broadcast of television and radio programmes and/or shows and advertisements created at the expense of state budget or local budget funds.
