Dear people’s deputies!
In view of the fact that certain mass media outlets informed that the Ukrainian Party did not allegedly participate in the meeting of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee (PCC), I would like to make clarifications for the deputy body and mass media.
Internal working conference of the European part of the PCC, that was held on October 9 in Strasburg, did not provide for participation of the Ukrainian part of this Committee.
Thereat, in order to secure regular work of the Ukrainian delegation in the PCC, I signed an order on appointing the co-chairpersons of the Ukrainian part of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee. Particularly, S.L. Tyhipko and P.O. Poroshenko.
The President of the European Parliament Martin Schultz was informed accordingly.
